It is recommended that every morning we get up and ask our
Higher Power to help keep us Sober/Clean today. There are many Daily
Reading Books. I will list some below for you. It is also
recommended that we meditate in the morning and do our daily
meditation.
If you are interested in getting a little farther into
meditating, I have listed some helpful links below for you. I like
to do diaphragm breathing, while listening to soft music with no words.
This helps me to relax and free my mind. I start out with prayer,
and then I just sort of try to listen.
Inside each and every one of us is one true authentic
self. Something that is ours, we are born with and is ours alone. Something
that can't be taught or learned. Something that got to be remembered over
time. The world can rob us of that swing. It gets buried inside us. All our
would haves, and should haves and could haves Some folk even forget what their
swing was like. Keep swingin' that club. You're part of the whole thing.
From the movie "Bagger Vance"
